Casagranda, Franziska

Franziska CASAGRANDA, neé SCHLAGER, was born in Salzburg in 1894. She was the Catholic wife of a savings bank employee and the mother of a daughter. She was admitted to the Salzburg Provincial Sanitarium on September 3, 1939. On April 16, 1941 she was sent from there to the extermination center at Schloss Hartheim near Linz in Upper Austria where she was murdered. Her husband died in 1965 and her daughter has moved to Switzerland.
