Rudolf RASPOTNIG was born in Salzburg in 1906. He was the Catholic son of a master shoemaker and became a commercial employee.
He was first admitted to the Salzburg Provincial Sanitarium in 1929, and on April 17, 1941 he was sent from there to the extermination center at Schloss Hartheim (near Linz in Upper Austria) where he was murdered.
Since 1910 he and his family had lived on the ground floor at 33 Wolf Dietrich-Strasse, which was also the location of his father’s shoemaker’s shop.
Rudolf’s parents died in the early 1960s.
